Their Session: Canyonlands, Utah

In case you missed it, this stunning sunrise session is actually part 2 of an incredible Utah engagement session trip! You can check out the first day here! Tina and Jason guided me through such incredible trails on our first session day, and then we woke up for more Utah goodness the next day! Since we hiked 7 hours and around 11 miles on the first day, we opted for a drive-up location for day 2! 🙂 We woke up around 4 am to drive to this secluded spot for sunrise with their furbaby, Moqui, and it was truly such a serene dream!

I love that these two are all about the experiences, and you can just tell that as long as they’re together, they’re fully content. The quietness of the morning overlooking these mountain views was really something you can’t describe in words. But hey, that’s why I take pictures! 🙂

Their Love Story

These cuties met over 13 years ago through a mutual friend! They stayed just friends for a while! Jason would visit her family on LBI in the summers since he is originally from California! They loved surfing, margaritas, and sunsets together during those summer days. By chance, they both started living in Philadelphia at the same time, so they ended up seeing a lot more of each other and realized they were becoming more than just friends! They’ve experienced so much together being that they’re interpretive park rangers for the National Park Service! They’ve lived all over the country and have SO many incredible stories to share from each new location!
At one of the parks, they would host a small homemade pasta night with some friends. It started out small, and as more and more people heard how amazing the pasta and company was, it grew to be even bigger! They’d often find around 20 – 30 friends gathered together as they made pasta and sauce for everyone! Hearing this was no surprise to me as they’re truly the most welcoming people ever, and you feel like you’re at home when you walk through the doors!

Tina & Jason,

Ahhh, you two are seriously a power couple and I’m so grateful to have connected with you two way back when! It’s been a dream getting to know you both and get a taste of Canyonlands for your Utah engagement session! Thank you for trusting me to tell this piece of your love story and for welcoming me in, I’m so lucky to know you both! Can’t wait to celebrate your big day in September on LBI!

Loving all the adventure vibes?! Come check out a gorgeous Santa Fe engagement session here!
