Welcome Party: New Hope, PA

The evening before their wedding day, London and Neil celebrated with a vintage-inspired backyard welcome party in New Hope! Their close friends and family gathered at London’s parents’ stunning home that has a backyard you could only dream of! Not only does it have tons of variety of trees, plants, and flowers planted by the previous owner – a botanist, but it also has multi-level landings and a gorgeous pool! The unique backyard made for such an exciting, extravagant yet simultaneously laidback event. It’s the welcoming nature of London and Neil’s families that made for such a chill, relaxing night!

Tables adorned with antique goblets, vintage books, hand-collected China, and assorted snacks made for a stunning contemporary vintage vibe for the night! London’s parents are incredible collectors of art and unique decor, so their home is loaded with the most stunning pieces. They brought that passion into the design of the evening, which was truly masterful and so thoughtfully curated!

With an incredible team of planners, caterers, henna artists, and a DJ, the celebration flowed seamlessly from welcome toasts to a buffet dinner to choreographed dances by friends and family! We found little snippets of time to take portraits of the beautiful bride and groom around the property. London and Neil were naturals in front of the camera as we took pictures with their rescue pups, Ralphie and Roti, and with the Ford Model A built by London’s grandfather!

Yep, you heard that right – her grandfather, Honey, had a passion for Ford Model As and spent his free time buying, selling, and fixing them up! The car they displayed at the entrance to the party was the only car he had built from scratch. They noted, “What makes this car truly ‘one of a kind’ is the woodwork; a mixture of a 1931 Market Wagon and Railway Luggage Wagon… this was his own special vision.” They infused the memory of her grandfather into the weekend by getting it up and running for their Baraat on Sunday!

It was SO fun getting to watch their family honor and celebrate them by performing a bunch of choreographed dances. The energy was unmatched, and just made me realize how incredible the rest of the weekend was going to be! They had 2 full wedding days ahead to party, but that didn’t stop them from dancing the night away!

Guests went home with hand-branded (by London’s father and Neil) cutting boards and thank-you gifts! They ate, drank, partied hard, and got a good night of sleep for the celebrations ahead!!
