Their Session: Fairmount Water Works & Rooftop, Philadelphia, PA

WHEWWW, 10 out of 10 for Kimi and Greg’s Fairmount Water Works Engagement Session!!! We started their session exploring the beautiful Fairmount area overlooking the Schuylkill River, which has so much variety nearby. They brought their adorable pups, Ace and Brady, who are such a fun duo! Their energy and excitement as models had such cracking up from minute one!

We walked over to the Philadelphia Art Museum for photos at such an iconic building before heading up to their friend’s nearby rooftop for sunset! The second outfit – matching sweatsuits – was the perfect vibe for their Rosé wine and Smartpop combo! Kimi and Greg rocked the sweatsuits and even popped on the cutest sunglasses by Eleventh Hour and a fun veil to end the night!

I knew from the second Kimi reached out to me that we would get along so well and could chat for hours, so it was really special getting to hang with these two and really get to know them better! Greg’s cool-calm-collected vibe matches so perfectly with Kimi’s authentic nature. They both felt like close friends from the moment we met and made me just that much more excited for their big day in the fall!

Their Love Story

Ahhh, these two have the absolute cutest love story! They met at the football field when Greg was 9 and Kimi was 6 back in their childhood football and cheerleading days! They crossed paths years later in 2018 at a Memorial Day Party and have been together for over 4 years since that day! 🥰

They got engaged down the shore and their photographer caught the perfect moment of Kimi’s reaction! The sweetest news was finding out that Kimi and Greg got engaged on Shawn and my wedding day – August 20th, 2022! Such a special connection I get to share with these two now! <3

They had planned a trip to the Adirondack Mountains prior to the engagement, so it just happened that they got to celebrate a little ‘engagement moon’ in a cute cabin out in nature! They celebrated with 1 on 1 time and spent an evening filling out their ‘Getting to Know You” questionnaire that I send to my couples – how fun is that?! Kimi sent me a photo of their wine and bonfire night and said, “we had so much fun filling out the questionnaire last night sitting outside by the bonfire ☺️ seriously so excited we get to work with you!” The best texts!!

When I asked these two their favorite qualities of one another, they shared such thoughtful responses! Greg said, “I love how much Kimi loves and cares about me and everyone in her life, she is so supportive of everything I want to do. She is such an inspiration as an entrepreneur and is a trendsetter who doesn’t follow the societal standard.” Kimi shared that, “Greg is so genuine towards me and all the people in his life. He supports me in absolutely everything I do, every wild dream I have, and every crazy idea I bring up to him. He is my best friend but also challenges me to think and be a better person every day.”
