Their Wedding Day: Crossed Keys Estate, NJ

Pair all the stunning fall colors with an incredible team of vendors and you’ll have MAGIC on your wedding day! Erica and Joe planned the most stunning fall Crossed Keys Estate wedding day that took everyone’s breath away! The florals were so unique, the stationery and signage by Alane of Write Pretty For Me left me speechless, Erica’s Galia Lahav dress was a DREAM, and their love was just so beautiful to witness!

It’s always so amazing at Crossed Keys Estate no matter the season, and I’m so honored to get to come back time and time again for all these sweet love stories!

A few really special details Erica and Joe included were:

A plant ceremony during their ceremony where they filled a large plant pot with different jars of soil from meaningful locations!
The reserved seat sign for Joe’s parents who have passed. The seats included items that were significant or special to them like his father’s red Converse. Joe ended up wearing them later in the evening!
Joe’s pocket square was a piece of his mom’s wedding dress – such a special way to honor his parents!
The phone guest book for guests to leave sweet messages to the happy couple!
Their furbaby, Sadie, being a part of the ceremony by walking down the aisle!

Their Love Story

Their love story started at an amazing local Mexican Restaurant in Freehold, NJ the day after Christmas. Erica says, “Main Street was glistening with the most beautiful Christmas lights and freshly fallen snow blanketed the streets.”

Erica remembers glancing up at Joe and thinking, “how did he finish his meal that fast and should I tell him he has cheese hanging from his beard?” 🤣

Joe remembers how beautiful Erica looked, and that she was the same genuinely funny person who he had been chatting up for the last month while she recovered from knee surgery!

She said, “We then shared a warm, peppermint mocha latte and made our way over to the movie theater where Joe fell asleep 30 minutes in, although he denies it to this day!”
