If you know me, you know I LOVE Christmas trees, so when Brittany reached out for an engagement session with her fiancé, Kacy, at a Christmas tree farm, I was ALL in! I was more than willing to travel anywhere for the exact tree farm they wanted, and seriously Perfect Christmas Tree Farm did not disappoint! This was my first time at a tree farm, so it was so fun getting to see all of the families around us chopping down their trees and getting all excited for Christmas!

Brittany and Kacy were SO much fun to photograph and hang out with! They have the sweetest laughs and know how to have a blast together no matter what. I asked them to do ridiculous things for the cutest pictures (like skipping through the trees and screaming while families were around), and they were ALL in.

Okay, here’s the story!! Read on to find out how they met and how Kacy proposed!! “I met Kacy’s best friend through an online app, went on a date but it didn’t work out…all the while Kacy had been hearing about me through her friend and had a feeling we would be a good match for one another. She waited until the time was right and asked her friend if she could ask me out-she then sent me a pretty witty message and she took me on our first date at the top of One World Trade. She says she met up with that very same friend later that night and proclaimed she was going to marry me one day…it took me a few more dates 🙂 The interesting thing is, Kacy had been single for 7 years prior to this and I had been in a another relationship for the 7 years preceding meeting Kacy, so we think those 7 years were all building up to meet one another. One of our early dates was a walk along the west side pier, where you can see Lady Liberty amongst other things… Kacy was in training in Quantico last September-December so immediately when she came back she began planning the ultimate proposal weekend. Early March, she had a weekend of amazing experiences set up for us that led up to the proposal, including massages at the bath house, dinner at the rainbow room, tea lights all over our apartment, my favorite wine being shipped in, brunch at my favorite spot, dinner overlooking central park and ultimately a Rolls Royce picking us up at our apartment to drive us to the west side pier where she proposed! We then met up with all my friends at a dive bar in Brooklyn, who were coincidentally celebrating one of their birthdays the same night, so were already altogether. The weekend was absolutely perfect!”
